London’s luminous art crowd turned out in full last night to help YBA Dinos Chapman celebrate his 50th birthday at the newly revamped The Scotch club in St James.

The new Mrs Bryan Ferry, Amanda Sheppard joined Lily Cole, Natalia Vodianova, Roksanda Ilincic and of course Dinos’ brother Jake and wife Tiphaine de Lussy at the club that was once the playground for swinging sixties London. Guests sipped gin and vodka cocktails, with the birthday boy calling it a night at 5am.

A camera shy Kate Moss was also in attendance, managed to also squeeze in drinks with Stella McCartney at nearby Arts Club in Dover Street and was joined by Polly Morgan and Mat Collishaw and Sharleen Spiteri.

Jerry Bouthier provided the eclectic soundtrack playing everything from Sister Sledge to New Order, which – with Tiphanine leading the way – certainly got the crowd on to the dance floor.

Happy Birthday Dinos!

Natalia is featured on the November 14th issue of Ogonek Magazine. I’ve added the cover to the gallery and you can read the article below. Please note: The following article has been translated into English using google translation.

Over the past ten years I worked as a model, I was able to achieve success, wealth and fame, which I did not dare to dream. However, this does not make sense to me, if I can somehow help others.

More than anything, I hate injustice. It angers me to the core. So, after reading the book “Give me a chance” *, I experienced a strong shock.

Difficult and painful to think about how my country is for children with disabilities. Hard to imagine what would have happened with my sister, if my mother had given her in the care of the state.

I remember that up to seven years I have had a perfect childhood. I lived with my mother, stepfather, grandfather and grandmother to four-room apartment in Nizhny Novgorod. And of course I was terribly spoiled. My grandmother sewed me pretty dresses and stuff Crimean grapes.

Everything changed when I was seven years old and I was born the first sister Oksana. Doctors put her diagnosis – infantile cerebral palsy. Vanya from the orphanage N 10, which describes in his book “Give me a chance”, was born in the same year as Oksana, and perhaps why his story is particularly strong hold of me. Birth Oksana literally destroyed our family. In the nursing home my mother strongly advised to abandon the child and give the girl in the care of a state institution for children with disabilities. They said that she would never go and do – grow “vegetables.” Perhaps they sincerely believed that a sick child at the hands of my mother put an end to his life. “Your own life will end, if you take a girl. Do not even think about it.”

But I have a strong mother, and she rejected all the arguments of doctors. Oxana – her daughter, she said, and care for her she would be herself. This decision is adopted mother yourself, did not listen to any doctors, no relatives and friends. Her husband, my stepfather, said, or child, or me. And he left us.

My grandmother and grandfather worked at the automobile plant and even grown fruits and vegetables in the country near Nizhny Novgorod. Throughout his life, they have been working hard. At the same time my grandmother was a very sociable man, fond of fun for the holidays and collected a lot of guests. Presence in the house of a sick child would radically change her life. “We are no longer so young and deserved rest. Let us disperse.” So we with mom and sister were in a studio apartment is not in the best area of ??town. The apartment was so small that we were sleeping with Oksana in the hallway.

After we parted, my grandmother rarely visited by us and never offered to help care for my sister. Friends also disappeared: not everyone will like to come to the house where the child lives with a disability. Seven years old I had become the only mother’s helper.

My mother and I shared the household duties. I returned from school, and my mother went to work. She moonlighted as cleaning, mopping the floors, took a house wash, and then stood up on the night shift at the dairy plant. I, until it was fed a sister, cleaning up the house, cooked food, in general, as she could, ran the household.

When I read this book, I was particularly outraged by the fact that the maintenance of children in orphanages in the State provides five times more than the cost of children with disabilities who live in the family. Indeed, we have to Oksana received only pitiful monthly pension – this money is barely enough to go three times in the shop. No other government assistance, we have not seen.

No adequate medical care or kinesitherapy (movement therapy and special loads .- “O”) or a specialized children’s center, where they could keep the baby for a few hours or days. All the care and all care necessary to Oksana, her mother provided. So, she persuaded her friend, experienced masseuse, during the year to come to us every day. She managed to teach Oksana walk. When I was 11 years old, my mother and I engaged in street trading fruit. Got up at six in the morning and, while Oksana was asleep, went to the wholesale market, where buying on the box of bananas, oranges, apples and pears. Taxi we could not afford, so dragged the boxes on the bus. No permission to trade with us, of course, was not, and therefore had to pay the police and the mafia. But even so we were able to earn something. Worst of all was cold. From a fast spoiled bananas, and we wrapped them in blankets. And in a hurry to sell as quickly as possible, while not turn black. My mother and I have changed – one stayed with Oksana, the second was selling fruit. I will never forget the terrible pain of stiff toes, when I finally fell into the cold to heat. And the worst enemy I would not wish this.

Although we worked hard, but could not get out of debt. My mother always took the money. I remember how I felt ashamed when it was time to give the next debt, and money did not exist. We sat and waited with dread a knock at the door, no idea of ??what we say in my defense. I soon grew up. Yes, and my mother treated me as an adult, shared with me incubus, which was not in sight.

In the evening, before going to bed, I could not sleep for a long time: the body of a really buzzing from fatigue. Just close my eyes as I see before me a long, long tunnel. I was really scared. Such a life could not but affect their studies. I began to miss lessons – there was no power to get up and go to school, especially in winter. Not yet born, my second sister Christina, I learned quite well. But in recent years has become almost dvoechnitsey, because in my head spun one – which would earn money. I knew I was trying to explain the teachers and all to remember, but home is not engaged – not enough time.

Lack of support for our family from the state has deprived me of a normal childhood. But, in truth, I do not feel miserable. And do not pity myself, because fully adapted to the situation. My mother loved me, and it is important that a child need to be happy.

If that makes me unhappy – until now – so it’s memories of the brutality against the people to Oksana. Going for a walk with his sister, I never knew how it will turn out. I’m friends with neighborhood children, but even they often teased us, especially if you own one hurt. I do not blame anyone, especially children, but they can be ruthless. Not understanding what the child with a disability, they perceive it as something disgusting and try to stay away from him. That’s us with Oksana other children were driven away.

As we walked down the street, even adults sometimes shied away from us like Oksana was contagious. The bus we caught at his glances. Over the years I used to it. Well, that’s life. And still it hurt. Bitterness from the old injustices are not forgotten today. Teenager, I was skinny. Dressed poorly, every thing zanashivala almost to pieces. And girlfriends in high school, I almost was not, because I think as an adult, and the problems I had grown up.

I was 17 when I found out about the casting, where the girls were selected to work in a Paris model agency. I had to go into a mini-skirt, but where to get them? I pulled out my old skirt, and cut off her and somehow managed to hem. I looked awful. Seeing the long queue, frightened, and huddled in a corner. I felt as if I was again on the market just now put up for sale is me. But the camera lens – usually nothing to forgive – was not the case for my poor worn-out shoes and odezhek.

Modeling career has helped me make up for what I was deprived as a child. In 2005 I founded a charity, “Naked Heart” (“Hart Neykid Foundation”), which is building a playground for the whole of Russia. I conceived these parks as a sort of neutral territory, open to all, including children with disabilities. We have too many disadvantaged children – their parents drinking, they are beaten at home, on them being bullied at school, they are insulted in the street. They also should be a place where they can just play again become children, and for a while forget about their troubles. In my childhood and my sister was not such a place.

We are often hurt, because Russia has developed such an attitude towards the disabled, which can not be called otherwise than a profound ignorance.

Reading this book, I thought of his own life, and once again I thought that parents leave reshivshiesya of a child with disabilities, subject to emotional harassment, as if committing something shameful. Someone who, as I know this: my mother and I suffered a lot, making for Oksana house in which she was surrounded by love. The book helped me to see what’s going wrong in relation to children, locked up in state institutions.

The thought of what would become of my sister, if she gave custody of the state, has awakened in me a terrible pain, but at the same time made to feel a deep love for his mother and sister.

Of course, you realize that people are not bad – bad system. Why is she still there? We live in an age of information, and today is no longer possible to evade a simple ignorance of the situation. As it turns out that this system remains unchanged? Why do people close their eyes to?

Children with disabilities need to live at home. To do this, families need support social and health workers, access to day-care centers and special education institutions. It would be nice to everyone to reconsider their attitude towards people with disabilities. We have no right to remain indifferent to the injustice from which they suffer.

To photograph haute couture is to build an elaborate, imaginary world that extends far beyond the limits of one single frame. This is why Patrick Demarchelier’s photograph for Vogue of Natalia Vodianova in front of the Dior atelier in Paris—an arresting image styled by Vogue Creative Director Grace Coddington that opens Demarchelier’s new book, Dior Couture (Rizzoli)—is all the more exceptional. With the iconic house’s petites mains, furniture, tools, and fabrics taken right out of the impenetrable studio and onto Avenue Montaigne, the fantasy is planted firmly in the real world, the craft contextualized without losing any of its magnificence. Whether this was Demarchelier’s intention, he says the choice to shoot on the street came down to aesthetics. “We didn’t like the inside,” he explains in his signature succinct manner.

Vogue’s European Editor at Large, Hamish Bowles, who was on set in 2008, remembers the shoot this way: “We really wanted to capture that behind-the-scenes world and to convey a sense of the pride and perfectionism of the people who bring the couturiers’ fantasies so magnificently to life. This was such an exciting story to work on because it involved really understanding the hierarchy as well as the level of craft, skill, artistry, and refinement that the tailors and dressmakers—and the legions of petites mains—possess.”

This black-and-white portrayal, so classically Dior, is only one of hundreds featured in the tome, the others a mix of Demarchelier’s previous editorial work and photographs taken of runway stars like Sasha Pivovarova and Karlie Kloss specifically for this project. The 2008 Vogue image, however, remains dear to Demarchelier for many reasons, not least of which is Coddington’s exquisite eye—he considers it as well honed as that of any of his peers. “It was a very easy shoot,” he says. “When you have a great picture, there’s no point in doing anything more.”

Right from an opening extravaganza of workers in hard hats toiling away to the tune of a drill, on through to a penultimate act featuring a horse and donkey, the entertainment was a gala evening managing to combine the Bolshoi’s long history of grand performance with modern Russia’s supposed cultural vacuity.

Stretched over two hours, Friday night’s over-the-top medley of ballet and opera, with enough theatrics to rival any Eurovision gathering, gave Russia a show to remember to celebrate the opening of the Moscow theatre’s doors.

Not that Dmitry Medvedev, dwarfed on the Bolshoi’s enormous stage, was going to let the assembled supermodels, politicians and ballerinas be in any doubt of the significance. “Today is a very happy day for our country,” the president said, kicking off the evening with a speech extolling the theatre’s symbolism. “We have, of course, a very big country, but one with a small number of unifying symbols, so-called ‘national brands’. The Bolshoi is one of our greatest national brands.”

A brand name appeared a crass way to describe a magnificent world-class historic theatre that has given the world some of its best ballerinas, opera singers and choreographers. Broadcast round the world, the opening was intended as a cultural event to mark a six-year renovation costing half a billion pounds.

Medvedev and his wife, Svetlana, in silver lace top and deep blue skirt, took the main box, which has welcomed tsars and Soviet premiers since the theatre first opened in 1825. The president spent much of the evening whispering to Yelena Obraztsova, one of several Bolshoi legends invited to his box. When a standing ovation was needed, it was Medvedev’s wife who nudged him with the back of her hand.

Supermodel Natalia Vodianova and Italian actress Monica Bellucci were there, as were former Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev, Naina Yeltsin, widow of the former president, and Patriarch Kirill, head of the Russian Orthodox Church. In a nod to Kremlinology, ex-finance minister Alexei Kudrin, fired last month by Medvedev, was relegated to the last row. Former president Vladimir Putin, now prime minister, was notably absent.

As the curtains parted on the famous stage for the first time in six years, the grand hall, outfitted in lush red fabric, ubiquitous gold and opulent chandeliers, filled with a pounding squeal of drilling and repairs. New acoustics, a goal of the renovation, ensured it was deafening. After several minutes, a choir of many dozens dressed as building workers launched into Mikhail Glinka’s Ivan Susanin, singing “Glory to the Russian people!”

An all-Russian programme followed, with arias from Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninoff, and a Shostakovich’s tango from the Golden Age ballet was only outdone by an elegant adagio from Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake, featuring principal ballerina Svetlana Zakharova. French soprano Natalia Dessay and Lithuanian soprano Violeta Urmana were invited to perform.

Nearly all the pieces showcased the Bolshoi’s famous traditional style. Walking down a long red carpet after the end towards the dogs and riot police cordoning off the square in front of the Bolshoi, attendees seemed pleased.

“I liked it,” said Vitaly Mutko, the sport minister. “It’s culture. It’s the country.”

Nickelodeon Russia, a unit of Viacom International Media Networks, today announced SpongeBob SquarePants, the iconic character from Nickelodeon’s global hit series, is coming to Moscow in a new and glamorous way. ‘Absorbent: A SpongeBob Exhibit’, a unique and immersive modern art exhibition presented by Nickelodeon working in partnership with Beeline, will be offered free-of-charge to visitors from September 16 to October 2, 2011 at the Flacon Design Plant, Moscow.

As Russia’s first-ever interactive SpongeBob exhibition, ‘Absorbent: A SpongeBob Exhibit’ will invite visitors to see firsthand how Nickelodeon’s most famous character has influenced fashion, culture and modern media. Fans (big and small) will have the opportunity to view fashion and art installations inspired by SpongeBob’s positive, happy-go-lucky perspective, as well as a multimedia zone dedicated to the world’s most famous sponge. In addition to showcasing Nickelodeon’s number one property in a sophisticated light, the fun and bold exhibition will provide young visitors with a range of opportunities for creative and educational growth through a number of workshops – all featuring the sponge that has become a global phenomenon.

To mark the opening of ‘Absorbent: A SpongeBob Exhibit’, Nickelodeon will host an exclusive auction with all funds raised going to the Naked Heart Foundation, a children’s charity headed by Supermodel Natalia Vodianova, to build playgrounds across Russia and develop programs for children with special needs.

As part of the Naked Heart Foundation partnership, exhibition visitors will have the opportunity to donate to the foundation by purchasing one-of-a-kind charity bracelets. Nickelodeon will also help create Russia’s first ever SpongeBob SquarePants themed playground, to be built in one of the orphanages the Naked Heart Foundation supports. Fans will get a sneak peek of the playground at the exhibit.

Nicholas Walters, VP General Manager, Viacom International Media Networks Russia and CIS, said: “SpongeBob has a staggering level of awareness and popularity in Russia, and ‘Absorbent: A SpongeBob Exhibit’ is a special way of sharing this beloved character with Moscow-based fans of all ages. We’re delighted to be partnering with Natalia Vodianova and the Naked Heart Foundation, and are proud to support this amazing organization’s commendable work.”

“We are happy to partner with Nickelodeon, a brand that recognizes the importance of play and knows how to bring smiles to kids’ faces. Play is a necessity, not a luxury. It is through play that children at a very early age engage with the world around them. A child’s greatest achievements are possible in play, achievements that tomorrow will form the foundations of their social interactions,” said Natalia Vodianova.

SpongeBob SquarePants reaches viewers in more than 170 countries in 35+ languages across a multimedia platform, including television, digital media and retail sales of over $8 billion. The series debuted in the US in 1999 and was first introduced to Russia audiences in 2000. SpongeBob SquarePants is the most widely-distributed property in MTV Networks history, winning dozens of prestigious awards along with the hearts of both kids and adults across the globe.

Thanks to Asli Bildirici for translating the article!

She mesmerizes everyone with her big, deep blue eyes. She is like a young girl even though her three kids. The most important thing she learned from life is “no”. She doesn’t do jobs that doesn’t feel right to her, but she gives herself completely to the jobs she chooses. She works for her kids to have a better life. Tom Ford is right. She is the most beautiful women in the world. In every way.

We arrive to West Sussex in the South of London after a few hours car trip.We go through greens that meet with sky, endless fields until we arrive. But it is impossible to believe that this house belongs to a supermodel. There is neither a door nor a security guard. We wouldn’t stop there if we didn’t notice the cars.

The main house that Natalia lives with her three kids is in the middle of the land, behind the trees. The house we see, which is located in the huge land, is called Spa. It is called Spa because of the pools and steam baths in and out of the house. Obviously she prefers the welcome her guests in here. The dolls and toys spread around the pool is the sign that she spends time with her kids here.

The crew arrived before us. They complete the preparations. Everybody did as the note, which was send to us. “ Shoes will be removed at the door and white socks will be worn”. There are many shoes in front of the spa which makes the house looks like a traditional Turkish house. We remove our shoes too and wear the socks that web ring with us. As we enter we realize that this is not a supermodel caprice. The floors are covered with white carpet. And then Natalie comes in. She is wearing a short black pair of shorts, and a tshirt. Bare feet. Very naturel. Very plain. Very beautiful. As Tom Ford says “ worlds most beautiful women”. Even though she just came from Mert & Marcus shoot for American Vogue which took two days she doesn’t show her tiredness as a professional. I’m not amplifying, her eyes are mesmerizingly big and deep. It is the first time that I’m witnessing a human is blessed with this kind of blue. We decide with our fashion director Ece Sükan, if Bambi was a women it would be Natalie Vodianova.

SHE WAS DISCOVERED WHILE SELLING FRUITS
Natalia was born at Gorky which is now called Nizhni Novgorod. She gets discovered 15, while selling fruit. She learns English in three months and moves to Paris at the age of 17. Natalie, started appering in runway after 2000. Dice Kayek 2001 S/S was one of her first runways. Even she married once ( she announced her divorce recently) and has three kids aged 10 to 4 she rised very quickly. She got covers even when she was pregnant. She posed for Marc by Marc Jacobs photographed by Juergen Teller at the last months of her pregnancy. She covered British Vogue seven times. She is one of the most earning models in the world. She walked over 175 runways. Louis Vouitton, YSL, David Yurnman, Marc Jacobs, Chanel, Giorgio Armani, Gucci, Nina Ricci, Versace, Diane von Furstenberg, Calvin Klein and L’oreal is just a few brand that she worked for. This year we see her in Stella McCartney and Givenchy campaigns. She is so thin and so in shape that if you didn’t know you wouldn’t guess that she is mother of three. I ask the first question that everybody is curious about.

How do you keep your in shape?
I don’t do sports. I am not a person who can wake up early and go running. I probably run once in six months. But I do yoga. And every morning I do sun saluting moves to wake my system and get moving. It is a very important part of my life, it takes 15 minutes.

Natalie is really neat while working almost a perfectionist. She gives her comments and tells her ideas in every step. We look at the clothes that are fashion director Ece Sükan, before hair and make up. She loves them all. She loves our photographer Cüneyt Aker too and admires his work. It looks like it’s going to be a great day.

60 GAME PARKS
While we prepare her for the shoot, she is working on her The White Fairy Tale Love ball . Which model wears which designer? Who should walk the runway? She answer countless phone calls. After seeing the wigs chosen by Ece and Cüneyt, she decides models should wear wigs to the night too.

Love Ball, is a special night held every year to raise money for her charity Naked Heart. The first ball was held in 2008 at Moscow and raised 5 million dollars. It is known as the biggest fundraiser in Russian history. This year it was held in Garavani’s Le Chateau de Wideville. The ball had a dress code: white and silver. Attendies like Anne Hathaway, Carine Roitfeld, Olivia Palermo, Stella Tennant, Anna del Russo and Margherita Missoni preferred to fit while Daphne Guinness wore a colorful kimono by McQueen for Givenchy. And Natalie wore a red gown by Valentino which was inspired from Little red riding hood. Like the Valentino gown, every dress sold for the charity were inspired from fairytales. The dresses were designed by 50 designers includes Riccardo Tisci, Olivier Theyskens, Stella McCartney, Karl Lagerfeld and Dolce & Gabbana. For example, Frida Giannini from Gucci made a long, black, assymetrical, one armed shiffon dress with a thin black belt and a silk cardigan with purple flowers. Christopher Bailey made a long satin and lace gown completed with a Philip Treacy hat.

Why was the Naked Heart founded and what does it do?
More than 25 percent of Russian families raise their kids in below the poverty line. Naked Heart’s purpose is to build safe playing parks for these kids. We’ve build 60 parks in 44 cities so far. We also build orphanages, childeren hospitals and special rehabs. We built 3 parks in England this year. Ofcourse it’s only the beginning. After this we are going to start a program to help kids with special needs.

Natalie says she decided to open Naked Heart after the Beslan tragedy. (Terrorist killed 339 people half kids in a school in Beslan at 2004.) She thinks playing games is a therapy for kids. Natalie herself had a tough childhood. Her father left when she was a baby and her mother raised her and her sister who had a brain apoplexy on her own. Natalie helped her mother by taking care of her sister and selling fruits in bazaar.

Did your own childhood affected your decision on openning Naked Heart?
Of course. My sister is disabled. I raised her. My mother was trying to take care us both.So I know how hard life can be for family who have a disabled kid. There is almost no help from the goverment. We have to do something about it. It is impossible not doing something for someone like me who made into somewhere in her life.

CINEMA
Natalia really gave all of herself, her time her energy to charities. Especially when it is about Russia. You can see her love for her country from the decoration of her house. The walls are covered with Natalia portraits drawen by young Russian artists. You see young Natalia in one of those, just 15. She is staring at Moscow in glass globe. It is stil where her mind is.

As we talk some boxes arrive, Natalia opens them with excitement. There are colorful shoes and boots in the boxes. She made a cooperation with a big Russian company . The income from her line will be used for Naked Heart. “ I designed three shoes. High heels, midi heels and boots. There are lots of color options. And the price is affordable, it will be around 20 euros. They all have heels. Because Russian woman love wearing heels. Actually all woman needs heels for looking beautiful, sexy and attractive.

Russian woman are feminen, sexy. Is Natalia sexy too?
I think most woman want to look sexy. But sex appeal is subjective. It is different to man and to woman. Some people can look sexy without clevage. Some is sexy as her clevage. It actually depends on what kind of a person you are. I guess being yourself is the sexiest thing in this life. I’m… I’m very feminen. I can wear everything but I must look feminen. It shouldn’t scream.

While we are talking about fashion I should ask about Hakan Y?ld?r?m which she walks for every year. “ I don’t do a lot of runways now. I only participate in projects that I really believe in. And I admire Hakan very much. Otherwise I wouldn’t walk for his show. He is a very strong designer; fresh, sexy, elegant and very feminen.” Natalia is 29 and she is at the top of her career. Even if she doesn’t walk runways she does have a lot of campaigns. She also does charity work and she has three kids that she coddles!

How do you find time for everything? How do you balance your career and your personal life?
A friend of mine said once “The most important word I learned in life is no.”. You should learn to say no. You can’t do everything. You have to set your priorities. It is sometimes your job sometimes your children. Sometimes yourself. I say “no” to more things now. I don’t do jobs that doesn’t feel right. But if it does I give myself to it, I work with my heart and I do it perfectly.

There is one more job that she does with her heart now: Cinema. Natalia’s first screen experience was Roman Coppola’s CQ in 2001. In 2009 she acted in Russian director Alexander Kott’s Probka. And last year we watched her as snake haired Medusa in Clash of the Titans. Today Natalia ,who used to say that she doesn’t want to work on more movies because of her kids, have changed her mind after her last movie Belle du Seigneur. She played her first serious part in this movie by Glenio Bonder. She acted alongside actors Jonathan Rhys-Meyers and Marianne Faithfull. She says there will be more to come. “I loved Belle du Seigneur and acting. It was a very beautiful very rich experience for me. It satisfied me more than modelling. You make characters in modelling too. But it is a beautiful thing to show different feelings.”

SHE EATS FOR HER BLOOD TYPE
Shoot is over. We go to the kitchen. Photopgraphs by Annie Leibovitz are hang in the kitchen. And it is filled with various kind of food. She is very careful about what she is eating. “ I’ve been eating according to my blood type for 5 years. Now I feel more energetic, lucid and I never feel bloated. When I was a kid I had ulcer. I had a very delicate immune system. I would have cramps, pains. Since I’ve started this diet I never had any problems. Recently I went to Kazan for a playground opening. They served foods that I loved as a kid. I cheated for once and I had pain all night.” I found out we have the same blood type. AB +. She says humus, tea, coffee, chicken, meat and avacado is bad; egg, lamb and caviar is healty. Ofcourse the list goes on. According to this list I need to give up many things that I love and start eating many things that I hate. She continues referring herself as Doctor Natalia. “I know it takes some effort. You need to give up many things that you love. But it feels great at the end!”

The diet Natalia is talking about, is founded by Doctor Peter J. D’Adamo and introduced in a book called Eat Right 4 Your Type. D’Adamo says the most important element in healty eating is your blood type and he suggests a different diet to every type. Group 0 that D’Adamo refers as the hunter group should eat more proteins. Farmer type A group should prefer grain and vegetables. The best food fort he nomad B group is dairy. And AB group should be considered as a mixture of type A and B.
Our diner is over. She says goodbye and thanks and kisses everyone. She says “ It was a great day. Everyone was so sweet. Cüneyt is a very calm and very Professional photographer. It wa swonderful to work with her.” And Natalia disappear with a basket filled with food that is good for her blood type on her arm.

For the September issue, the featured fete was Natalia Vodianova’s fairytale-themed ball, which we remember quite well from the fanciful outfits.

Playing hostess kept the model quite occupied, leaving her no time for even one drink. Which is shame, said Natalia to W:

“I actually love the feeling of a hangover. It’s not often that I allow myself to be like that, so I don’t fight it. I just take a Berocca vitamin and a walk — and enjoy it.”

We find it hard to believe someone could actually love a hangover, but then again Natalia is Russian, so she and vodka must be on good speaking terms.

Natalia did have an opportunity to let loose recently on her Ibiza escape with new boyfriend Antoine Arnault. The son of LVMH boss Bernard Arnault, Antoine was spotted with the model and her son on the beach, confirming that Natalia has indeed moved on from husband Justin Portman.

Now she has a new man to party with… and nurse hangovers with.

Playing happy families, bat and ball in hand, children alongside playfully running through the waves, Antoine Arnault cut the dashing – and rather doting – father figure while on holiday with top model Natalia Vodianova and her brood while in Ibiza last week.

The 34-year-old son of LVMH owner Bernard , who works as the luxury conglomerate’s communications director and group administrator, has been confirmed as the Russian model’s new lover. Until earlier this year, Antoine had been dating French actress Hélène de Fougerolles.

Vodianova, 29, split from her real estate heir husband Justin Portman, last year. The pair married in 2002 and have three children, two sons aged nine and three, and a daughter aged five.
It is thought Antoine and Natalia got to know one another as Vodianova worked closely with the Louis Vuitton brand, walking in catwalk shows and starring in recent advertising campaigns.

In June, while Antoine’s identity was still a closely-guarded secret, she revealed in an interview with the Evening Standard that she was “defintely” in love with someone new. When asked about her separation from Portman, she described their separation as “really sad,” adding: “Our children are very much aware of it. It’s OK. We’re still in a very sensitive position right now, and trying to do things as amicably as possible, so I wouldn’t want to talk about it at all. I don’t think I will ever want to, because it’s strictly between my husband and me”.

Best known as the face of countless covers and ad campaigns, this mother of three has also devoted her life to a cause dear to her heart. Vodianova talks to D’NA about giving back to her native Russia and her first trip to the Middle East.

Why did you decide to establish a foundation?
I’ve been very fortunate in my life and career, and I wanted to make a positive contribution to my country. I founded the Naked Heart Foundation five years ago to give underprivileged children in Russia the gift of play. The idea came to me after the Beslan school siege in 2004.

The Naked Heart Foundation believes that playing is a necessity, not a luxury, and that every child should have a secure environment in which to play. To date the foundation has built 54 playgrounds in 38 Russian cities, including facilities in orphanages, rehabilitation centers and children’s hospitals. The need for such facilities in Russia is enormous, where more than 25% of the population has salaries below subsistence level. Furthermore, the authorities don’t provide play facilities in a country where the poorest are typically families with children.

Any future plans for the Naked Heart Foundation?
This year we’re launching a new program called Every Child Deserves to have a Family, providing essential support to families of children with special needs. This is a cause that’s particularly close to my heart. My sister Oksana has cerebral palsy, and I’ve experienced firsthand how little support there is for children with special needs in my country. Without support many of these kids are often abandoned in state institutions where they languish.

How do you generate funds for the foundation?
Our main fundraiser is the annual Love Ball. The first one was held in Moscow in 2008, and raised $5 million. It was the most successful charitable fundraiser in the history of Russian philanthropy.

This year’s fundraiser, The White Fairy Love Ball, was our most spectacular to date. It was held on July 6th at the couturier Valentino Garavani’s Chateau de Wideville in Paris and offered a rare opportunity to visit his archives. The gala dinner brought together some 450 friends of the foundation, including international celebrities from the worlds of fashion, business, film and art.

The highlight of the evening was a fashion show featuring more than 40 custom-designed dresses created by the world’s top designers, which were auctioned that same evening, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the Naked Heart Foundation.

Have you ever visited the Middle East?
My first trip to the Middle East was last November, when the Naked Heart Foundation was invited to be a beneficiary of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Ball. That particular visit left a big impression on me. It was almost like landing on another planet, with Yas Island’s fantastical architecture and its multi-cultural inhabitants. Unfortunately it was a very short trip, and there was so much of the culture and country I still wanted to explore. I hope to visit again someday.”
