Top model Natalia Vodianova and brand Centro announced the launch of limited edition footwear collaboration.
The shoe collection that Natalia Vodianova created for Centro will go on sale in October 2012. Natalia Vodianova has commented about her decision to design for the brand: “I want to see each girl creating new images and able to enjoy a truly stylish, beautiful shoe. Together with Centro, I want to give all girls the opportunity to feel like a princess, unique and inimitable”.
Natalia has been making shoe sketches for several months now and personally directed the creative process. With the emergence of such a collection for sale, Centro offers to girls the world of high fashion. Now, each of them can easily pick up her cherished shoes, regardless of the situation and the reason, always remaining at the height of fashion trends.
Natalia Vodianova Shoe Collection and Centro support The Naked Heart Foundation, which promises to be one of the largest philantropic collaborative projects to date. “I’m pleased to work with Centro because here I found like-minded people. I can say that part of the profits from sales will be donated to charity for the Naked Heart Foundation children and I’m grateful for the opportunity to support Centro’s initiative, in which I believe, by allowing each customer to participate in charity”, says Natalia.

According to Spletnik.ru, Natalia has opened an official facebook account. The following message was posted by Natalia to verify the account. If you wish to follow her, you can do so here.
“Dear friends!
Today is my 30th birthday and the launch of my Facebook profile is one of the ways to celebrate it. A lot has happened in the last 10 years and today reflecting on the past and the future I am very happy with where I stand. There have been challenges and some profound changes and throughout this time I was led often more by my heart and intuition, sometimes against my mind. That’s how I’ve made some of my most important decisions. I believe this one to be one of those important decisions.
It’s completely against my nature to expose myself this way. For a long time I shied away from any social networks and kept my profile as low as circumstances and profession allowed. However recently I had a big shift in my consciousness and have changed my mind. I discovered (I know almost light years later than some of you S)))) that my presence in the social networks will give me an ability to have my own voice and allow me to communicate with many more people.
I am here to share with you what I really care about and hopefully to find allies in a very important part of my life -my charity work – the source of my energy (apart from my children of course) and the ultimate goal of everything I do. I meet on a daily basis a lot of great and inspiring people and hear about so many important issues. At Naked Heart Foundation we are addressing a few issues, however there are many more. Bringing these issues to your attention is another way of taking action and doing something about it.
I am very open to criticism as I am not here to please. However I hope to make you laugh and cry to provoke and move you. And of course there will be fashion!”
On the 4th March 2012, Natalia Vodianova and the team of 50 runners will participate in the Paris semi-marathon, in a fund-raising effort for the Naked Heart Foundation.
Natalia Vodianova ran the Paris Half Marathon for the first time in March 2010, raising over £40,000. She and artist Dinos Chapman finished the race in 2 hours and 19 minutes. Spaces for this year’s marathon are already sold out, but supporters can contribute to Natalia’s fundraising efforts by visiting http://www.justgiving.com/Paris-Semi-Marathon-in-aid-of-NHF.
On Valentine’s Day eve, an auction will be held in Moscow in favor of Natalia Vodianova’s charity. Some of the major items to be sold will be lots of top models portraits from artist David Datong.
‘Natasha’s portrat was created with thousands of words LOVE, – he said about the work, identifying this woman’s whole inner world.’
The American artist David Datong donated to the Naked Heart Foundation a portrait of its president – Natalia Vodianova. The painting was done in an original manner – the image is under a layer of hundreds of optical lenses.
‘The auction will be held in Moscow on the eve of Valentine’s Day – told Metro Vera Chernysh, a spokesman for MIRONOVA GALLERY. ‘The starting price is 100 thousand dollars. How much of the work will be sold, we will only know after the auction’.”
